COMPOSITION :Each tablet contains:-
Metformin 1000 mg.
Glimepiride 2 mg
- Glimepiride belongs to a blood sugar lowering group of medicines called sulfonylurea. Glimepiride increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, and thereby decreases the blood sugar level.
- Metformin belongs to class of medications called antidiabetics. It decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from the food and the amount of glucose made by liver. Metformin also increases the body’s response to insulin (a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood).
INDICATION : Type 2 diabetes mellitus.

SIDE EFFECTS : Chest pain, A metallic taste in the mouth, Flushing of skin, Allergic reactions such as skin rash, Indigestion, Abdominal and stomach pain, Nail changes, Accumulation of gas, Constipation and diarrhoea, Heart burn, Bloating, Muscle pain, And headache.
